Finding an existing financial company to acquire can still be a surprisingly manual process.
International Fintech Business (IFB) is preparing to launch a mobile marketplace designed to give entrepreneurs and investors a simpler way to discover financial companies available for acquisition across international markets.
The application is scheduled to launch on 1 November 2026.
The first version of the marketplace will allow users to browse available financial companies and explore opportunities across different jurisdictions and financial sectors.
Listings will include information such as the company’s regulatory status, jurisdiction, type of financial activity, key characteristics and asking price.
The idea comes directly from IFB’s experience in financial licensing and M&A.
The company has worked with businesses looking to enter regulated markets and with buyers searching for existing licensed structures.
In both cases, the starting point is often the same: finding a company that actually fits the intended business model.
Information about such companies is currently spread across different advisers, brokers and professional networks. For a potential buyer, this can make the first stage of the process unnecessarily time-consuming.
The IFB marketplace is intended to make that stage more straightforward.
Rather than presenting a broad directory of financial companies, the platform will focus on companies that are specifically available for acquisition.
Users will be able to explore opportunities based on the factors that matter when considering a regulated financial business — including where the company is based, what it is authorised to do and what the asking price is.

Vladyslav Zaporozhenko, Co-founder of IFB, said:
“The market already has buyers, sellers and advisers. What is often missing is a simple way to see the opportunities at the beginning of the process. We are building the application around that first step — helping potential buyers find and understand relevant opportunities before deciding which ones are worth pursuing further.”
Building a financial company from scratch remains the right option in many cases. But for businesses looking to enter a market more quickly, acquiring an existing company can provide another route.
The relevant question is then not simply whether a company has a licence, but whether its jurisdiction, regulatory status, business activity and overall structure fit the buyer’s plans.
This is where IFB sees the role of the new marketplace: making it easier to identify potentially relevant opportunities at the beginning of that decision-making process.
The application will initially focus on financial companies available for acquisition across international markets, with opportunities spanning payments, electronic money, cryptocurrency, banking, brokerage and other regulated financial activities.
