The UK’s most viral social media Smashed Burger & Hot Chicken chain, Smacks, launches into a prime location in London Victoria on 19th December 2025.

In 2025, Smacks has seen unprecedented success, growing sales by more than 50%, to £8M retail revenue, and launching brand new stores into hot-spots such as Brighton, Glasgow, Cardiff and Motor City Dubai.
The Quick Service Restaurant chain, which is home of the Smackdown Burger and the legendary Nashville Hot Chicken range (often rated better than the US Daves Hot Chicken brand) has expanded its reach across the UK with high-quality franchise stores. The Victoria site will be its first corporate-owned managed store.

This year, Smacks introduced their Nashville ‘Smacksville’ Hot Chicken Range along with their Secret ‘Smicken’ Sauce to their menu offering. Hot chicken is a huge trend, in high demand from UK diners wanting new, exciting and adventurous recipes.
Launched in 2021, Smacks is a home-grown independently-owned British business from South London. It is the most virally successful UK social media QSR brand with over 26 million organic views across its social media platforms. The Smacks brightly coloured stores, in signature hot-neon-pink are fun, engaging and youthful, appealing to a broad wide demographic searching for fresh, quality, affordable feel-good food.
Smacks prides itself on premium ingredients. Burgers are 100% Angus beef, served with Martin’s famous potato rolls from Pennsylvania, USA. Burger mince is freshly ground in-store every day and smashed into mouth-watering patties; a totally unique feature of Smacks. No other burger chain has this process. The menu is all halal and its amazing value for money when compared with other chains. 100% Angus hamburgers starting at just £3.09!
Food expert and company owner Kaysor Ali, launched the business in 2021, following 15 years of success with Steakout, which is the UK’s largest chain of Halal steak restaurants.

Kaysor Ali comments:
“The aim for Smacks was to simply offer true quality, affordable, FRESH fast food at an AFFORDABLE price. The response has been overwhelming with each Smacks experience leaving customers feeling Moreish! The new Victoria store is a proud moment for us. Starting off in a small unit in Thornton Heath, Croydon with no seats; to being located within a 90 second walk of Victoria Station and directly next door to Nando’s is quite an achievement, all post covid amongst the turbulent economic and cost of living crisis we have manage to navigate through and grow from strength to strength. We chose the location because Victoria is a very well-known central London location capturing both the great city of London as well as the surrounding highly populated residence. We managed to find a perfectly located unit at an affordable rate compared to other typical commercial units in the city.”
At the core of the Smacks business, is Oliver Bird, Director of Operations. Olly who formerly worked with Gordon Ramsey, was the top chef and helped to create the menu at Burger & Lobster and with the Goodmans Group. He creates the menus at Smacks, runs the supply chain, operations, procurement and first-class staff training for franchisees.
Mark Salter, Smacks Franchise Director notes:

“Independent UK QSR food brands with personality and originality are competing well against large-scale mass-produced US food brands. Customers are fed up with the same old low-quality fast-food offerings. People want to know what they’re putting into their body and the traditional offerings nowadays don’t represent the value for money that they first marketed. Smacks is different in every way – we uniquely represent top quality food at extraordinary value. The team have done this by securing long standing relationships with the very best ingredient suppliers. As an independent business we have an efficient supply chain, we can see upcoming food trends, and we can act ahead of market challenges. We don’t charge the high franchise fees that other chains often do. For all these reasons, we can keep the prices for consumers remarkably affordable.”

The company plans to open 100 Smacks stores across major UK
cities, and have a mix of both franchised and managed outlets. They will launch into the USA with their first store in Virginia in 2026. Smacks have retained franchise experts Presman Collard to manage expansion across the Middle and Far East.
The company has also just commended their first investment raise to expedite store growth and welcomes enquiries from prospective investors and from experienced franchisees. Interested parties can email Franchise@eatsmacks.com.
